About Morehead Law LLC
Jamie W. Morehead is from a small town in Western Maryland. He earned his undergraduate degree from his hometown college, Frostburg State University. While in law school, Jamie developed a special interest in real property and insurance related subjects and earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Land Use Controls.
Jamie began his legal career at a boutique law firm in Charleston, South Carolina, where he concentrated his practice on construction, contract, and HOA litigation. He and his wife later relocated to Myrtle Beach to be closer to family. Before founding Morehead Law, Jamie served as the department head for community association and real property litigation at a well-known full-service law firm in the Myrtle Beach area.
Since founding Morehead Law, Jamie has continued his commitment to practical, responsive, and client-focused representation. He assists homeowners, community associations, contractors, and other clients with real property disputes, HOA and condominium issues, and collection matters.
Jamie is admitted to practice in South Carolina and serves clients throughout Horry and Georgetown Counties. Jamie has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the past two years. Outside of the office, Jamie enjoys exploring local and American history, spending time along the South Carolina coast, and attending Washington Capitals games.
