Jamie W. Morehead is from a small town in Western Maryland. He earned his undergraduate degree from his hometown college, Frostburg State University, dual majoring in both Political Science and Law & Society with a concentration in legal studies. He was a member of both the FSU Honor Society and the National Political Science Honor Society. In law school, Jamie found special interest in subjects involving real property and insurance – earning the CALI Award for Excellence in Land Use Controls.

Jamie began his career at a boutique law firm in Charleston, South Carolina, concentrating his practice in the areas of construction, contract, and HOA litigation. Jamie and his wife relocated to Myrtle Beach to be closer to family. Once in the Grand Strand, Jamie worked as the department head for community associations and real property litigation at a well-known full-service law firm in the area. During his time heading this department, Jamie helped homeowners and associations of all sizes, while sharpening his litigation skills by handling a myriad of client issues dealing with real property disputes, homeowner’s association disputes, and general contract matters.

Jamie founded Morehead Law with the mission of providing client-focused representation in real property matters. He aids homeowners, community associations, and subcontractors in simple and complex disputes, contract interpretation, and collections.
